Wilsonville celebrated senior night on April 6th. They beat Oregon City on straight sets

On this Tuesday evening from Wilsonville, the crowd was electric as the Pioneers rolled into the main gym. Wilsonville, celebrating senior night, honored Clarissa Klein, Abbi Nelson, and Sydney Leveque. Each of these players made significant contributions to the game, collecting kills and serving effectively.

Set one was the longest of the 3, giving way to a 25-23 victory to open things up for the Wildcats. This one consisted of back and forth action, tons of epic saves, and high-flying kills. These two teams rallied aggressively multiple times.

With set two, Wilsonville started slowly being down by as many as six points, but dug deep to knock off the Pioneers late, 25-18. The stars of this set were Clarissa Klein and Ashli Edmiston.

Set three marked more of the same, one where the Wildcats closed the Pioneers out 25-17. The star here was Makenna Wiepert, at the net blocking spikes.

Wilsonville needed this one, especially after a tough loss to La Salle in the absence of Wiepert and Edmiston.

They are 11-1 and will play one more game tomorrow. This will be at home against the 6A Sunset Apollos.
