With the recent transition of 3rd to 4th quarters sports, the winter sports season has begun, and with winter sports comes basketball. The basketball season has been debated up until the first official practice on May 10th, 2021. Oregon’s metrics were updated and the resumption of indoor full-contact sports was effective April 23rd.

The season is speeding along with the first season game on Monday, May 17th. Sophomore Fiona Dunn shares, “I’m ecstatic to finally be able to play! The season will be a blast and I’m so happy to be back on the court!” Dunn has experienced several concussions leading to her season being cut short in the past. She has recently acquired some new medical gear to help her play to the best of her ability this season, safely.
