Dual language opportunities at Wilsonville

Liderazgo y Comunidad

Liderazgo y Comunidad is a leadership class in Spanish. It is a semester course offered to students of all grades; no prerequisites are required. In Liderazgo students choose a community project that they devote their time to. Students also work on translating things around the school to make it more inclusive.
Wellness Mind and Body (Dual)

Wellness Mind and Body is a semester class that counts as a PE elective. This class also has no prerequisites and is available to all students. This class helps students gain greater body awareness and learn to regulate the nervous system and breathing. Students will also learn stress reduction techniques to help them live a more focused balanced life.
Latino Arts and Culture

Latino Arts and Culture is a year-long elective class with no prerequisites. In this class, students explore different cultures and spread awareness about different cultures through art. Students also learn about the contributions of Latino artists and the global impact their art had on the world.
Zoology

Zoology is a semester-long class offered to 11th and 12th graders; the only prerequisite for this class is biology. This class explores different types of birds, mammals, reptiles, and insects. Students will also learn how these animals' attributes help them survive.
Creative Writing (dual)

Creative Writing is a semester class offered to all students with no prerequisites. In this class, students will read works of literature and learn how to use grammar and punctuation properly. Students will write throughout the semester and build a portfolio to turn in.
