Volleyball dominates league

Volleyball team poses at their recent game against Putnam. They are hoping for a run deep into the state tournament this season.

The wildcat volleyball team has been on fire this season, they are currently sitting sixth in the state with a record of 10-0. This has been a wonderful season for the wildcats. It is currently coach Nathan Blankenship’s second season with the wildcats. This year they have two freshman on the varsity team and will be graduating four seniors. Soon they will counting on the two freshmen to take charge and lead the team. We talked to junior, Grace Thompson to ask her about her thoughts on the season so far; “It has been going great, we all work really well together and we have a lot of skill so hopefully we can go far in state.” She also told us that the two starting freshman “Ashli Edmiston and Tatum Lubisich have brought a ton of positivity to the team and are a huge contribution.” She feels that because of these girls the volleyball team will continue to look up in future years. Catch the girls this week as they face Milwaukee at home on Tuesday this week at 6:45pm.
