A bittersweet ending for senior Kylie Hadden happened tonight as the Wildcat Varsity Softball team finished off their last home game of the season winning 2-0. The Wildcats, who have remained undefeated throughout the entire season, had all their attention on Hadden for what they joked as “Kylie Night.”

While the win over La Salle this evening was a group effort, standout pitcher junior Maddie Erickson proved once again why she committed to Michigan as a sophomore. Erickson allowed only a few hits and had multiple strikeouts throughout the evening, not letting La Salle to score any runs.

As this season comes to the end, the Wildcats players reflect on their year, especially Hadden. Hadden’s softball career will be one she will never forgets and would love to thank her coaches and family for all of her support from her youth softball days all the way to her unforgettable for so many reasons senior season.

Wilsonville will finish off their season with two away games this week; they will travel to Barlow tomorrow evening for a 5pm game and will conclude their season at Scappoose on Thursday, May 13th, with a 4:30 start. Congratulations to Hadden and the rest of the team for their fantastic season!
