LSU boasts the most alum in the NFL

The NFL is loaded with skill and talent, but where are all these players coming from? LSU of course, LSU has the most NFL players on an active roster than any other college football team in the country. LSU has 61 players in the NFL and Alabama is a close 2nd with 58. LSU likes to call them self DBU which stands for defensive back university, LSU pumps out defensive back talent year in and out.

Some top players to look out for at LSU now for next years draft are Derrius Guice (RB), Arden Key (DE/OLB), Donte Jackson (DB), DJ Chark (WR). These are just a few of the top prospects you’ll see coming out of LSU next year. It’s time now to list off some of the best NFL players that came out of LSU

Patrick Peterson: Pat Pete is what they call him, he’s one of the top corners in the nfl. He balls for the Arizona Cardinals and wears number 21. Peterson was picked 5th overall by the Cardinals back in 2011. He’s has career total of 20 interceptions and over 310 tackles. Peterson has been one of the top corners in the league for a long time. At LSU Peterson played alongside safety Tyrann Mathieu who is my next player on the list.

Tyrann Mathieu: Tyrann got the nickname Honey badger at LSU because a viral video came out of a honey badger and a voice over a guy saying the honey badger takes what ever he wants, that’s exactly what Tyrann does. He’ll take the ball from you and that’s just what he does. Tyrann also plays for the Arizona Cardinals alongside Patrick Peterson. He has been in the league since 2013 when the Cardinals drafted him. He was favorite to win Heisman at LSU but off field problems had the front runner position ripped away. He has 10 career interceptions and north over 250 tackles.

Odell Beckham Jr: Odell is one of the top receivers in the NFL, but his season was caught short with a broken ankle early in the season. Odell came into the league making one of the greatest catches of recent time with his 3 finger catch against the cowboys in primetime. Odell has been in the league since 2014 and already has ranked up 4,200+ yards, 310 catches and 38 touchdowns. Personally I believe he has the best hands in the whole league.
Jarvis Landry: Jarvis was teammates with Odell at LSU and they tore it up. Jarvis plays for the Miami Dolphins and he was been extremely productive. He has 320 catches, 3,200 yards and 15 touchdowns. Both Odell and Jarvis are among the NFL’s best in catches.

Those are some of top household players that came out of LSU. There are a lot of young talent in the NFL from LSU right now some top young stars are Leonard Fournette (RB), Jamal Adams (S), Tre’Davious White (CB), Kwon Alexander (LB), Deion Jones (LB), Eric Reid (S). LSU rules the NFL and just more young talent is on its way.
