High school students help make the middle school musical a success

Last week the middle schoolers of the West Linn Wilsonville School District hit the stage here at Wilsonville High School to perform the hit musical “Bye Bye Birdie.” Each student in the show put a lot of hard work and dedication into it, and with the outcome they got it was definitely worth it. Students from both West Linn High School and Wilsonville High School worked backstage to make sure everything went smoothly. Whether they were doing lights, sound, backstage teching or makeup, the techs of the middle school musical put a lot of time and energy into making this show one to remember. This is such a fun program to be a part of and iit s such an amazing way to get to know the incoming classes. I have been a hair and makeup tech for the past two years and it is so nice getting to know the incoming grades. All the kids involved are so sweet and talented. I really enjoyed being able to talk to them about theater and high school. The Middle School Musical community is such a caring group of people and if you ever get the chance to be a part of it I would strongly advise you do; there really isn’t anything like it.
