Wilsonville huddles up between games of their double header against Canby and Hillsboro. They beat both of their inner conference rivals.

Wilsonville volleyball hosted a 3-way at home on Wednesday night that included matchups between NWOC rivals Canby and Hillsboro. Wilsonville and Canby played at 4:30 then Canby and Hillsboro played at 6:00 before Wilsonville Played Hillsboro to finish the night.

Wilsonville Swept Canby to start the night, a pleasant start for Wilsonville considering the first time those two teams played it took 4 sets for Wilsonville to vanquish the Cougars. Canby kept all three sets pretty close but each time Wilsonville was able to pull away right at the end Wilsonville took set one by a score of 25-15, set two 25-19, and set three 25-18.

The middle game between Canby and Hillsboro saw Canby bounce back and sweep the Spartans, The Cougars flexed their muscles for the first couple sets beating Hillsboro 25-6 in set one and 25-12 in set two. How ever in set three Hillsboro took Canby the distance a very close set that saw Canby finally come out on top 29-27.

The last game of the night was Wilsonville trying to keep their perfect record alive against Hillsboro, after the marathon against Canby the Spartan legs looked dead against Wilsonville. The Wildcats swept the Spartans with scored of 25-9, 25-10, and 25-11 respectively. With that win against Hillsboro Wilsonville’s league record is now 13-0 while their overall record is 20-0.

Wilsonville just keeps winning and look to keep doing so with a tournament this weekend then three more regular season games. At home vs. La Salle on Monday, @ Milwaukie next Wednesday, and the final game of the year is at home vs. Putnam. Wilsonville looks to be a lock for the number 1 seed in the playoffs but going undefeated into the playoffs would be a huge confidence boost for this team.
