Wildcats destroy the Warriors

Friday, September 20th, the Wilsonville Wildcats annihilated the Cleveland Warriors 66 to 7. The ‘Cats really showed up for their second home game, with an opening drive TD pass from quarterback Jayce Knapp to wide-receiver Peyton Dart. 

Knapp finished the game with 230 passing yards and completed 4 TD passes. By boosting his stats with a rushing TD, he finished the game with a total of 237 yards, 8 completions and no interceptions.

Dart finished with 4 receptions and 121 yards receiving. After his opening TD, Dart had a 52 yard TD reception with just over five minutes to go in the second quarter. When asked about his thoughts on the game, Dart said, “Cleveland’s defense was not matched up to us, and our offense came in and picked them apart.” He also had high praise for the Wildcat defense, claiming it was strong and well-prepared.

Lucas Graves and Zach Geilman, both running backs for the Wildcats, had a combined total of 14 carries and 180 yards, with Geilman scoring 2 TDs.

Sophomores Max Bledy, Donis DeMonte, and Rochne Beecham also stood out with a forced fumble, interception and TD, helping secure the Wildcat victory. 

The Wildcats’ third football game of the season went down in the books as a win.
